Flower Infused Glass Vessel: 08

Cased in between layers of glass that form gradients from dark petroleum to light cerulean blue, ashes of flowers and leaves burned during the glassblowing process create ghostly, abstract patterns inside the unique, spherical-shaped Flower Infused Glass Vessel 08. Made in collaboration with one of the finest glassblowing factories in the Czech Republic, the Cesty Skla in Sazava, the unique piece is a result of an experimental project in which real plants were encased in red-hot, liquid glass, often to unexpected, and even explosive, results.
