Cased in between layers of amber-hued glass, a dense web of ashes of flowers and leaves burned during the glassblowing process creates ghostly, abstract patterns inside the unique, pear-shaped Flower Infused Glass Vessel 09. Made in collaboration with one of the finest glassblowing factories in the Czech Republic, the Cesty Skla in Sazava, the unique piece is a result of an experimental project in which real plants were encased in red-hot, liquid glass, often to unexpected, and even explosive, results.
