Flowering Transition (2014)

Published in 2014, the Flowering Transition publication summarises Marcin Rusak’s extensive design research, which led to the creation of the Monster Flower, the Perishable Vase, the Waste Flower Textiles, and the fragrance projects developed as part of his graduation project (MA in Design Products) at the Royal College of Art in London. Extensively illustrated using photographs taken by Marcin as well as images sourced from his flower breeding family’s archives, the book reveals invaluable behind-the-scenes materials and shows the vast extent of knowledge Marcin was required to collect in order to complete the project.
