Drinks Cabinet 83-1, named in reference to its height, is a composition of narrow planes in aluminium bronze and zinc that intersect and overhang. A body of softly rounded edges offsets the angular interior intersections. While the main body is finished in textured aluminium bronze, the juxtaposing polished zinc vertical planes allow for light to penetrate within and illuminate the cabinet compartments. The top shelf’s satin sheen finish provides a gentle, illusory reflective surface.
