NOT1800

For the installation, first presented at Marcin Rusak’s solo exhibition at Horta Museum in 2018, we have teamed up with LCA-CRT CATAR CRITT Agroressources in Tolouse to develop an incubator that will accelerate the degradation dynamics of the Perishable Vases exhibited within. The pieces were sprayed with a special set of enzymes and bacteria that would consume them in front of the public’s very eyes, inviting the viewers to reevaluate their own relationship with the objects that surround them.
