Protoplasting Nature Sconce

Modelled on the enlarged form of an anthurium, the sculptural wall light is made from industrially compostable, bio-based PLA. It builds on the studio’s Protoplasting Nature methodology, which explores how nature, technology and time can coexist within a single object. The sconce is available in two finishes: PLA or a PLA structure wrapped in specially treated Thaumatococcus daniellii leaves.
