Vas Florum: 11 (Avia Stachowicz)

The Vas Florum series reinterprets the concept of the vessel and its relationship with flowers and their display. In each artwork, specially sourced flowers are embedded in the body of the form itself. Conceived as ‘time capsules’, each sculpture contains botanicals that resonate with individual and collective memories. In Avia Stachowicz, the memory of Marcin’s grandmother is represented by a vibrant composition including anthuriums, masterworts (astrantias), anemones, tulips, gerberas, peonies, spireas, and spindle.
